Gone a long time..mostly just lurking and looking at other quilting blog posts. Have some projects under way........lots of UFO'S. I will try to add some pictures soon. One that I recently finished is a Scrappy Trip Around the World using directions from Bonnie Hunter's blog Quiltville.

Bloggers Quilt Festival

Every year Amy at Amyscreativeside.com hosts a bloggers quilt festival. You must stop over and view the beautiful quilts. There are so many and they are all very different. There are so many talented quilting bloggers it boggles my mind.

My entry is my last finish, a pattern from American Patchwork and Quilting, October 2010 called Apple Crisp. I made it for my son and new daughter-in-law. I am very pleased with how it turned out. It is probably the most complicated pattern I have tried to date. It has inspired me to continue to create.

It's Been A While

Have been busy with work and various things. I want to share with you a wonderful idea from Downy. They have a program called Quilts For Kids. They will send you a precut quilt kit. You just have to put it together, quilt it, and send it back and they will donate it to a child in the hospital. Here is my quilt.
